**** If you use a credit card for an order over $500, and that credit card turns out to be a REWARDS type card there will be an additional 2% fee charged to your card once our monthly statement arrives.   Placing your order indicates acceptance of these terms and charges.   Sorry!  

Did you know that the ONLY COMPANY who pays for the Rewards / Bonus / Mileage is the one placing the charge?  That's right, it comes DIRECTLY and EXCLUSIVELY out of our transaction amount.   

Our prices are kept as low as possible and checked against competition monthly.  We cannot afford to take a 2% hit on our profit margins.  Personally I think it is very unfair to force merchants to accept these cards with no advance notice.   This policy is forced upon us by the card companies.   I borders on criminal how the MERCHANT (HT) has to be the ONLY ONE to lose money when rewards cards are used.   

International Orders

Unfortunately, we can no longer accept International orders under any circumstances.   This is due to repeated fraud, shipping problems and disputed credit card charges.   We ship to the US, Hawaii and Alaska ONLY.

Canada Orders - UPDATED PLEASE READ

As of April 2008, our credit card accepting company has notified us that there is a new cross border fee of 4% for all orders processed using credit cards that are not US address based.   This fee will be added to ANY order with a billing address or credit card Bank Prefix that is based in Canada.    All orders to Canada MUST CALL IN FIRST - sorry no online orders.    

Most Canada orders will have to allow extra time for all products to be collected in one location for shipping to reduce UPS fees.   Multiple boxes will incur significantly higher shipping charges.   Also we may ask for a refundable shipping DEPOSIT, when the final bill from UPS is received 2 weeks later, any unused amount will be refunded.

Shipping

Call to verify all fast shipping options - online orders will be processed in a timely manner, if you need something to go out immediately please call to confirm it is in stock.

Brake Orders

Brake orders take 5-12 days to fill and ship out due to custom slotting and drilling in the CNC machine.  Faster shipping is not always available for brakes - if you order fast shipping for brakes they will be sent using your selected shipping method as soon as they are ready to ship, which can be up to 5-12 days from your order date.  Please plan your installation schedule accordingly. 

Payment

Absolutely NO Personal checks accepted for any reason. We accept VISA, Mastercard, Discover, Certified Bank Checks ONLY (NO Money Orders). Our Paypal address to send payment is sales@heavythrottle.com

First time credit card orders over $250 MUST ship to the credit card billing address. If an address is specified other than the billing address on your online order form, your order may be delayed.  

You can call your bank and have them add your alternate delivery address to the account so our system will respond "Yes" when address verification is processed.   Or contact us by phone, you can fax in scans of identification etc. to satisfy security requirements.

Warranty and Returns

All new parts and equipment are sold under original manufacturer warranties, if offered. Warranty information is usually available on the company's website. Contact us if you are having any trouble finding this information. Custom piping and exhaust guaranteed for 90 days against manufacturing defects. Uncoated pipes must be properly protected from salt and water.

Did you know we are charged the same percentage fee on a transaction for a return as we are for a sale?   

- If it's our fault or error, there is no charge for a return or cancellation.   

- If item is on backorder for longer than 4 weeks, there is no charge for cancellation.   

- Wrong part ordered (not our fault) - Unopened = 10%, Opened, unused, inspected = 20% restocking fees.  

- Defective part - full refund or replacement, including all shipping, item must be tested by us or manufacturer in most circumstances before refund / replacement.

Please be certain you are ordering for the correct application or are giving us correct information used to determine the application. All returns must be approved before shipping back to ensure proper credit.  You should test the part off the car as much as possible (bench test fan thermostat or fuel pump, for example) before sending it back to eliminate wiring and other problems.

All used parts are sold as-is, with no stated or implied warranty. Instruction books and original packaging are provided if available. Electronics and ECU's are tested and shipped in working order, therefore they cannot be accepted as returns until retested and verified to still be in working order.   This can take months!

Engine Warranty and Info

Engines are guaranteed to start and run with good oil pressure, good bearings, good compression, good rings, and no smoking. Provided accessories and parts are guaranteed to be in working order. Once the engine is started and run successfully, or 30 days have passed from delivery (60 days for engine accessories and turbo) - whichever comes first - our guarantees end. 

An oil pressure gauge and boost gauge must be installed and fully functional on first cranking of the engine, or the entire warranty is null and void.   Oil pan must be removed and inspected for dents - post-delivery engine damage resulting from dented oil pan is NOT covered.   If you do not get oil pressure on first startup, shut off engine and call us immediately. Under no circumstances will the engine block be covered under warranty once the car is driven on the street.   It is YOUR responsibility to verify oil pressure and bearing condition are acceptable BEFORE driving the car around.

Damage resulting from shipping can be remedied only if it is reported to the truck driver immediately.

The engines come strapped to a wooden pallet with the transmission and a box of bolts and the CAS, MAFS etc. and weigh about 575 lbs. Delivery varies and can be from $80 to $300, usually collected COD. 'Business delivery' is a little cheaper and typically means an 18 wheeler with no lift gate or forklift, so plan your delivery site accordingly. 'Residential delivery' will include a lift gate or forklift, in either case prepare some method to move the pallet around once the truck leaves. Most clips will have to be picked up at the local freight company terminal.
